How strange is it when your HP power fails just after your warranty runs out. And how strange is it that HP don't know
of this problem and state it can not be fixed. The same thing applies to repair shops. Then one can ask how come I have had over 400 Laptops from HP customers with exactly this problem. (Many other models too)
Some years ago similar strange events happened, HP Printers of the same model turned up at my workshop all 82 of them with same problem and all within a week, each all having the same problem, on this occasion it turned out to be an IC Chip though I could not establish which so I took some of the printers to a colleague to get some idea of the problem. The only conclusion we come up with was that it could only be a manufacturing fault of one of the chips or even possible a timing chip.
It makes one wonder what with millions spent in research that HP produced so many weak circuits on the Laptop Power Jack issue and around the power circuit zone
Anyway these Pages are to support the Power Jack Problem.
